Who is responsible for your data
SF Prestige Drive is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us about any privacy question at booking@prestigedrive.no.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer an enquiry and run a trip.
- Booking requests. Your name, email address, phone number, the trip details you give us (pickup and destination, date and time, number of passengers, flight number where relevant, the vehicle or service you are interested in) and any notes you add.
- Contact messages. Your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, and the content of your message.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to keep the site secure and available.
- Cookies. The site sets only the cookies needed for it to work, such as the security token on forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add website analytics in future, this policy will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To carry out a booking you confirm — performance of our contract with you. The assigned chauffeur needs the pickup details and a way to reach you.
- To keep records for accounting and tax — compliance with a legal obligation.
- To keep the website and our systems secure — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and fraud.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We share it only with:
- the chauffeur assigned to your trip, who receives the details needed to complete it;
- the services that deliver form submissions to us — an automation service (Zapier) and our email provider — so that an enquiry reaches the right person;
- our website hosting provider, which stores the site and its database on our behalf;
- professional advisers, or public authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside Norway or the EU/EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking correspondence is kept while it is still relevant to an ongoing or likely trip, and for a short period afterwards in case you get back in touch, then deleted. Information we need for accounting is kept for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires. Server logs are held for a limited period by our hosting provider and then rotated out.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data where we no longer need it;
- restrict or object to how we use data we hold on the basis of legitimate interest.
To make a request, email booking@prestigedrive.no. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.no.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date above. Significant changes will be explained at the top of the page.
